WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUP / GRUPO DE APOYO PARA MUJERES
YFC’s support group offers women a safe, supportive space to explore themes relevant to their identities. Topics often include mental health, navigating change, health, motherhood, and other shared life experiences. The group encourages peer support, allowing members to connect, share, and uplift one another. As a self-led group, participants help shape the direction of discussions based on their needs and interests.
El grupo de apoyo de YFC ofrece a las mujeres un espacio seguro y de apoyo para explorar temas relevantes a sus identidades. Algunos temas incluyen la salud mental, cambios repentinos, salud física, maternidad y otras experiencias de vida compartidas. El grupo fomenta el apoyo entre participantes, permitiendo la conexión y el apoyo mutuo. Las participantes ayudan a dar forma a la dirección de las conversaciones según sus necesidades e intereses.
Floreciendo Together
The name Floreciendo Together reflects the idea that growth doesn’t happen in isolation, but in community. Using both Spanish and English represents and honors our bicultural community. Like flowers, we grow through both challenges and care—through harsh conditions, as well as light and nourishment. From this, we learn resilience and strength, which is what we hope each member takes with them.
El nombre Floreciendo Together refleja la idea de que el crecimiento no ocurre en aislamiento, sino en comunidad. El uso del español y el inglés representa y honra nuestra comunidad bicultural.
Como las flores, crecemos tanto a través de los desafíos como del cuidado—en condiciones difíciles, pero también con luz y nutrición. De esto aprendemos resiliencia y fortaleza, que es lo que esperamos que cada participante se lleve.
